ABOUT Martin Gladstone: speaking in the first person and not the standard third person:
I am a Toronto-based musician and visual artist whose lifelong passion for music has recently and finally taken center stage.
I had a first career in music as a founding member and lead singer of the popular Toronto Band THE GROTTYBEATS. I then had a second career as a lawyer and notary and am now back to music and art.
My songs speak to life, vulnerabilites, love, loss, childhood memories, friends, nature, happiness, trauma, freedom, recovery, inner struggles, wonderful pets, and beautiful places.
All of the instrumentation is real and acoustic, including the flutes, cellos, pianos and percussion. There are no digital corrections or auto tunes. It is 100% organic and real.
These songs were recorded, mixed, and mastered at METALWORKS RECORDING STUDIOS in Mississauga ONTARIO CANADA: Canada's premier recording studio and at Doane Music Studios in East Toronto.
